Why We Do Not Give Up!
2 Cor. 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
Our walk is never promised to be easy, but God does promise to make mountainous ways plain; to make crooked paths straight. In Psalms 40:1 to the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. We see how He will not only take us out of the pit, not only set us on solid ground again, but will direct our new path.
It’s not always the easy thing to do, but giving up is never what God wants for us to do. We will find at times that we can not go on we are just too tired, nothing left to hold on to, no more strength to fight on, but that is why we do not do it in our own strength. We do it through God. We can do ALL things through Christ. Stop trying to do it in your strength and resources, use God’s strength and resources. That is why He offers them to us.
